Sunday School

We are committed to providing Biblically based and relevant Christian Education for each child.  Our classes are specifically geared to the age group and our teachers are committed to teaching the truths of God’s Word so children will grow in their faith and in their knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Sunday School meets between our 1st and 2nd Worship services, and begins at 10:00 AM.  Classes meet in the Impact Centre and the Education wing our main building.  Our age graded classes for children are: Pre-school, Kindergarten through 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade.  The curriculum we use is the Answers In Genesis Bible Curriculum, also known as ABC – Answers Bible Curriculum.  These lessons present the gospel beginning in Genesis, to all generations, to train believers to know, obey and defend God’s Word; and to encourage believers to become conform to the image of Christ.

Jr. Church

Jr. Church is provided for children age 3½  through 2nd grade and meets every Sunday during both the 8:30 and 11:00 AM worship services.  At the close of the song service, children are dismissed from the Sanctuary to go to the Jr. Church room for a Bible lesson, a craft that goes with the lesson and a game.  Currently the lessons we are teaching are from the Wonder Ink Curriculum (David C. Cook), where children are learning the Big Questions and Big Ideas of the Bible.  Lessons are grouped into series of 4-8 weeks.

Awana Club

Awana Club is our ministry for boys and girls age 3½ years old through 6th grade.  Awana meets on Wednesday nights from late September through early May.  The active program begins at 6:30 PM and ends at 8:15 PM.  After the opening ceremony, the boys and girls will go to their specific age group club: Cubbies – 3 ½ - 5 years old; Sparks – Kindergarten through 2nd grade; and T & T – 3rd through 6th grades.  Each night of Awana includes a time of games and fun, a time to work in their handbooks to learn Scripture and earn awards, and also a Bible time where the children enjoy a Bible lesson geared just for them!

This action packed night is something that children love to participate in, and our Awana Leadership team is well-trained and prepared to see them do just that.  The name “Awana” (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) comes from 2 Timothy  2:15 KJV; “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

May 17, 2026- Children’s Musical
King of the Jungle

Kids love animals. Kids love to sing. Mix these together with their fearless love for God and you've got the perfect children's musical! From best-selling kids' musical creator Celeste Clydesdale comes her latest, King of the Jungle. By observing the animals, the children will learn about Noah's trust and obedience, Daniel's faith in God, being born again like the bullfrogs and butterflies, as well as other Biblical truths. Steven Curtis Chapman's popular song "King of the Jungle" and the classic Barry McGuire favorite "Bullfrogs and Butterflies" are among many of the upbeat, kid-friendly songs that the children will love to sing and perform.
